Reviews of this tour

October 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

I recently had the pleasure of traveling to Ireland on the 10 day Iconic Ireland tour. I rarely write reviews, but I just had to share my thoughts. I had never traveled with this tour company, and didn't know anyone who had. The entire trip was truly an exceptional experience. The hotels, the 3 course dinners ,the itinerary and excursions were well chosen and thoughtfully planned. The highlight of our trip was guide/driver Tony. I can't sing his praises enough. Tony was wonderful in every way. He deeply cared that everyone should be safe, happy, and have an awesome time in Ireland, and that we did. Tony's knowledge of Ireland was exemplary. He brought the culture and history of Ireland to life. My Ireland tours has thought about and planned this tour very well. Bravo!

October 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

Patti and I were on the 10 day My Ireland Tour returning home on Sept. 25, 2019. Both of us could not of had a better time. Ireland is truly beautiful and we thought our tour had to have included all the best areas to see. The accomodations were more than adequate. All four of the cities where we stayed had many interesting and wonderful areas to see and explore. The group of people we were with on this tour were tremendous as well. Everyone got along well which made the trip very enjoyable as we all were able to appreciate and discuss Ireland together. Both of us agree the one common factor making this trip so memberable and wonderful was our guide and driver Tony. His knowledge and commentary during the trip was so interesting and informative. His detailed historical, social, religious and political information gave us a more complete understanding and appreciation of Ireland and its people. Tony's singing of several traditional Irish songs on the bus was also a bonus. In our opinion, there was not one negative aspect of the tour. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone and as a fact,we already have. Thanks My Ireland Tour and thank you Tony for providing a wonderful trip for us.

October 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

Our family trip to Ireland was fantastic. All seventeen of us gave it a perfect “10”. Kristel from My Ireland Tour was with us all the way: planning, answering questions, and execution! Our driver Colm was so thoughtful, informative and entertaining. We had fun on the bus and at every step along the way. We strongly recommend My Ireland Tour for your next trip to Ireland. It was great craic.

October 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

This was my first time to Ireland and I can't praise this company enough. We did the 10 day Iconic Tour and traveling was so organized, beginning with the pickup from the airport, hotel check-ins, and entry to tourist sites. The hotel accommodations and meals were excellent and always lots to eat. Aside from all the beautiful scenery our driver Tom was very knowledgeable about Ireland present and past. He took excellent care of the group and was always there for our tour group if we needed something. I loved my Ireland Tour and highly recommend it for anyone wanting to experience the beautiful country of Ireland. I will definitely recommend this tour to future travelers to Ireland and I plan on returning in the near future.

September 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

Ireland is a beautiful country and My Ireland Tour had a wonderful itinerary with the 10 day Iconic Scenes tour. Our family of 5 went along with 2 cousins. Everything was taken care of and we were able to just enjoy ourselves along with the other wonderful people on our tour. Colm Clarke was our guide and he was OUTSTANDING! Fun, energetic, full of knowledge, and took care of any question or guidance we needed with a smile. Just fantastic! Our young adult children have been imparting Irish history to their friends since being back - they learned so much from Colm. I'm very glad we booked with My Ireland Tour. They have our whole family's highest recommendation!

September 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

My two friends and I took the 10 Day Ireland Tour. Our driver/guide was Colm and he made the trip for us. It was a packed, well organized tour so that we could get in as much as we could. Colm made suggestions for eating, shopping, extra sights to see and would go out of his way to find something out for us, accommodate any requests, and gave us great information on the sights we were seeing and the history of Ireland. We saw so much and I know there is so much more to see. The hotels were amazing and the meals fantastic - the soups! There were 24 on our tour, just the right number, and Colm took the time to learn about each and every one of us. It's so hard to pick a favorite place but Connemara and the Ring of Kerry truly stand out. The weather cooperated and was nice, the bus was comfortable, clean and we were able to recharge our electronics, use wifi while we were traveling. I raved about this trip so much, my husband now wants to go. And I could go again because I am sure I missed things because there is so much to see. Martina, Colm, and the whole company made sure our 10 day tour was all that it could be. We didn't have to worry about logistics, Colm got us where we wanted to go, most of our meals were taken care of, and it was great not being in a different hotel every night. The 2 nights in a hotel was just right. Thanks My Ireland Tour for a wonderful experience.

September 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

Has to be the best coach tour of Ireland. 10 day Iconic Ireland Tour. We were a party of 4 from UK with 26 very nice Americans. 26 people in a coach for 34 so plenty of room to move around. On board WC and bottled water. Very comfortable coach. The tour packed in a very full itinerary hitting all of the important tourist destinations and many more side trips. Hotels were all good 4 star quality. Food was generally good from a limited menu and very good at some hotels. Suitcases were taken from the coach directly to the rooms. Staff in hotels were attentive and pleasant in all but the Clayton Hotel, Ballsbridge. This was the last hotel on the tour and in the restaurant coach parties were treated as second class customers. Struggled to get a wine list or secure a drinks order. No coffee with meal and no bottled water in the room. Front desk and bar staff were better. They did book a taxi to the airport for us. What really made the tour exceptional was the Driver/Guide Tony McGoey. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of all things Irish. He gave a comprehensive appraisal of every site visited and provided a detailed overview of the history of the island of Ireland North and South. He outlined the politics of the island both historical and contemporary. He also explained how tax, healthcare, education and driving differs from the US and UK. He kept the tour to time perfectly and even threw in a few additional side trips to pleasant seaside towns. His driving was impeccable instilling confidence in his passengers.

September 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

After returning from our 10 day Iconic Tour of Ireland, my intention was to write the BEST review ever written for Tom Lavin, our driver/guide, Martina Hegarty, our behind the scenes coordinator, and My Ireland Tours. However, as I read the many reviews on the website, I realized I couldn't top the A++ reviews that have already been posted. I'll give it my best though. I firmly believe that a successful company is only as great as the people who work there. Tom Lavin and Martina Hegarty are great ambassadors for My Ireland Tours. The immediate, helpful, and kind correspondence with Martina was so valuable to us as we planned our tour. She even went above and beyond to help with a last minute request shortly before our tour started. Tom Lavin expertly drove and guided us on our 10 day adventure. We learned so much from Tom about Ireland's history, iconic landmarks, and information about current day Ireland. We loved the anecdotes that Tom added about his life growing up in Ireland and about his family. When Tom talked on the microphone, you could hear a pin drop because his commentary was so interesting, and we didn’t want to miss anything that he said. Pretty amazing since there were 26 of us! Tom's leadership, humor, kindness, and patience were appreciated by all. Our itinerary, hotels, meals and included tours were all excellent. My Ireland Tours is a phenomenal company. I will continue to sing your praises to anyone thinking about visiting Ireland!

September 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We just returned from 10 Iconic Scenes of Ireland and had a wonderful time. The best parts were: our tour director/driver, Tom, he was extremely knowledgeable, informative, responsible, and he made us laugh a lot, we can't compliment him enough, he made the trip, he even arranged for the good weather we had, or so he said; the size of the group was another plus, 26 people is a nice size, we could move as a group easily and quickly became comfortable with each other; of course, Ireland is amazing and the Irish people are so very welcoming; the sites and places we toured were wonderful, the guides at every stop were so informative and obviously excited about their jobs and sites; and last but not least were our stops at Jameson and Guinness in addition to the Irish musicians we saw along the way. The accommodations and food were a cut above. This was a perfect 1st trip to the Island of Ireland for us. Thanks.

How many good things can I say about My Irish Tours. My answer is not enough. Let's start with the tour (Ours was the 10 day Iconic Scenes of Ireland option): The one phrase description that comes to mind is 'well paced'. My spouse and I are past the time when we choose to wake up at dawn and keep traveling til dusk in order to see as much as possible during a day. Our tour day was typically 9 to 6. Part of that is spent resting (and viewing the wonderful countryside) while being driven to another interesting area or place. We saw and experienced plenty of wonderful and interesting areas each day, had good guides for the historical areas, and sufficient time to explore on our own. Accommodations and travel: I can find no fault with the accommodations that were arranged for us. We usually stayed in a hotel for two days while exploring nearby areas. It's surprisingly feels much less hectic than tours where it's a different hotel most days. They were all comfortable, clean, and restful, with pleasant and accommodating staff members. And for others who travel while keeping tabs on work or home, we experienced reliable wi fi at each hotel. The bus used to transport us around Ireland was comfortable, clean, and roomy. A bonus was usb charging stations at each seat, and the bus provided wi fi. People: Two words...just wonderful. Our driver/guide Tony was and is fantastic. Personable, knowledgeable, capable, organized, helpful, entertaining. He seems to have personal contacts at each hotel and attraction. He shared history, background, and anecdotes during our travels. I really want to clone him for our next trip. Martina (at the office) was wonderful at helping us keep track of our trip planning, providing itinerary updates (no major changes) and insights, packing advice (bring a water resistant windbreaker with a hood), and all other administrivia.

August 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

Just returned from the 10 day Iconic Scenes of Ireland tour. It was a wonderful experience. I have toured Ireland 14 times. Our driver/guide, Mark< was the best driver I have ever worked with. He is knowledgable, witty, accommodating, kind and genuine. I appreciated MIT's flexibility, since eight of our group on 11 wanted to take the full day in Galway to voyage to the mystical Aran Islands. The excursion was astounding. The trip is well organized and informative. The final show at The Merry Plowboy was actually authentic and incredibly entertaining. The hotels were great, the meals tasty and the hotel staffs very engaging and helpful.

July 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

This was my first tour group and all I can say is WOW! I did the 10 day Iconic Tour and traveling was so easy and effortless beginning with the pickup from the airport, hotel check-ins, porter service and entry to tourist sites. The hotel accommodations and meals were excellent and first-class! The best part besides the beautiful scenery and sights was our driver, Tony! His knowledge of Irish history, culture, and trivia was outstanding and most important his wit and humor. Our group was always laughing and enjoying ourselves. He took excellent care of the group and I'm not sure how he did it, but he arranged for perfect weather the whole tour ,except for the one day that I wanted to experience an Irish rain day). I loved my Ireland Tour and highly recommend it for anyone wanting to experience the beautiful country of Ireland. I will definitely use My Ireland tour for future visits.

July 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We went on a 10 day tour of Deluxe Irish Castles with My Ireland Tours. The tour was fantastic and we got to see a great deal of IReland and the Castles which we stayed at were fantastic. We had a fantastic driver guide, Ger Murphy, who took us to places not on the Itinerary which made our trip special. Highly recommend this tour and if possible to get Ger Murphy as your guide.

July 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

My group of 5 Malaysians enjoyed our 10 Day Iconic Scenes of Ireland starting 17 June 2019. We experienced exceptional Irish weather with only one full day of rain while we were in Cork. The other days had occasional showers, cloudy and sunny weather with very comfortable cool temperatures for us. The relatively small group enabled us to get to know the rest of the group and also enjoy plenty of space in the full size coach. The pace was very comfortable with 2 nights in each hotel while touring and each day starting from 9am and ending before 6pm. Food was plentiful with multi-choice 3 course dinners every night. For us, we wish to suggest more varieties of taste for the menu. Our driver guide Tony was amazing; driving safely, giving running commentaries, checking us into the hotels and giving us our room keys, organizing the luggage pickup and delivery, keeping the coach windows clean every morning and frequently checking with us that everything is okay. Definitely will recommend to our friends.

June 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

Hi we did the Iconic scenes tour in June 2019 and I can only recommend this to anyone . The itinerary was well structured , the group size although at the maximum of 26 was small enough to really work well and the hotels were excellent and well located. The stops and routes were always interesting with some outstanding highlights . Our tour guide Tony was absolutely top class and everything worked seamlessly so you could really just relax and enjoy. What a pleasure.

June 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

This was an outstanding trip, the 10 day Iconic Tour of Ireland, for my daughter and I . We will never forget it. Our bus driver/guide was Austin and he was amazingly outstanding!! We loved him. He was so knowledgeable and funny!! We learned a lot and have wonderful memories from our trip. I would go again in a second!!

June 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

Martina, my wife Joanne and I went on the 10 day Iconic Tour of Ireland by bus. Our very first bus tour and we were unsure how comfortable this trip would be living out of our suitcase for ten days. This trip was celeb rating my 70th birthday and my Irish heritage. Thanks to your phenomenal planning of this tour and our fantastic tour guide Colm Clarke our little trip to Ireland turned into a great adventure. There was never a dull moment, the accommodations were excellent, the food was always good and plentiful, the locations and villages we stopped to visit were truly awesome. We began the tour with 26 people on the bus with us and ended the tour with 24 new friends. We can't thank you enough for making this a truly memorable experience. We haven't stopped talking about it since we have been back ,2 weeks now). We hope to return soon with friends and family to enjoy the beautiful Irish country side and the friendly hospitality of the Irish people. I am truly proud to say I am of Irish heritage. Thank you so much. The McCarthys.

June 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We have had the pleasure of booking a 10-day tour with My Ireland Tours., We could not be more satisfied with the end result. We had requested certain specific locations, and left the rest up to our contact, Mr. Eric O'Gorman. Mr. O'Gorman answered all my e-mails in a timely fashion, made sure our requests were taken care of and even added in a local historian to complete some information and details we were lacking. The vehicle was of the top quality, and the driver, Maurice Kelly, was an excellent choice for our personalities. He was truly a Godsend! All details were prearranged, hotels, meals, etc.. Never was there a problem of not having a reservation or not being expected. All ran like clockwork. The days were scheduled for plenty of time to sightsee, and still arrive at our next destination at an early hour. Very well planned, indeed. We would definitely use this tour company again ,which we plan on doing in 2021, and would highly recommend it to anyone, small group or large who wants a carefree holiday in Ireland.

June 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We can not say enough good things about this trip. From the very start, the booking process was seamless, the information for preparation, and details of the trip were perfect, and helpful. Martina was very quick to answer all questions, and readily willing to help with coordination of the trip, and any concerns that we may have had. Our tour was amazing and what made it so was , beautiful weather ,we were so lucky), our wonderful tour mates, the beautiful country, and first and foremost our AMAZING,FUNNY, KNOWLEDGEABLE,TALENTED, THOUGHTFUL,SKILLED bus driver/guide TONY. He drove that bus like it was a clown car,we felt safe and secure at all times. The 10 day iconic tour was a perfect amount of time to see much of this beautiful country, and their friendly people. Every day felt like something new, and never felt rushed. It was a great way to travel and see the country, without having to worry about driving, allowing the opportunity to look at the scenery instead of the road.We can not recommend My Ireland Tour, and this specific tour enough. Happy Travels.

May 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

David and I just returned from our 10-day Iconic Scenes tour. It was our first time in Ireland, & could not have been any better! The weather was amazing- it only rained part of one day. The people in our group were fabulous- lovely, funny, comfortable folks. Several of us are considering another trip together down the road! But what really made this trip fantastic was our incredible guide/driver. Tony provided the perfect blend of information and entertainment. He obviously loves his country, and did such a great job of showing us why. I will never forget some of his 'Tonyisms', or his beautiful rendition of 'Grace'. I'm sure My Ireland has other very good people, but if we ever make another trip, we wouldn't go with anybody but Tony!

May 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We could not have been more pleased with our trip with My Ireland Tour!! We went with the 10 day iconic scenes tour and it was perfect for us. We had 4 in our party that was part of a 24 person group total ,groups are usually 26, but ours had a cancellation). The smaller group size enables a much more personal experience with more time to view the amazing sites and much less time in lines. We really liked that we had 2 nights in each hotel which gave us a chance to unwind a little at each place. Our driver/guide, Tony McGoey added so much to our trip! I was actually teary eyed when saying goodbye. His easy going manner, professionalism, historical knowledge, wit, and sense of humor were effortlessly expressed during our rides with his gentle, unhurried Irish lilt. ,We even got a couple of serenades that touched our hearts : , This was a perfect introduction to Ireland and the tour succeeded in including as much as possible without overwhelming us. Would highly recommend them!

May 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

Not long back from the Iconic 10 day tour with George as driver. My first solo tour and first trip to Ireland. It won't be the last on either account. Wonderful trip, wonderful company, good food and even if it did rain a wee bit, who cares. Hotels were good throughout and well-placed and pace was good enough to suit everyone with time allowed to relax or go off and do your own thing. Thanks to My Ireland Tour for arranging everything so well! Thanks also to George for being such a careful driver and such a fount of knowledge. At long last I understand Irish history . . . I think!

May 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We just returned from a 10 day tour of Ireland with Tom Lavin as our driver and guide. We were a group of nine people within the larger group of 26 people on the tour. We could not say enough good things about the tour and Tom Lavin. The hotels, the food, the companionship of the people on the tour were outstanding. We particularly appreciated the two night stays at 4 of the hotels. Not having to repack every night was a big bonus.

April 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

April 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We took the Iconic Scenes of Ireland Tour in March 2019 with Tom Lavin. Tom was an excellent Ireland historian, Ireland current events expert, and professional driver, all with a great since of humor. He was fantastic and I can not give him high enough reviews!! He is outstanding!! Tom took our tour group on some personalized locations, that only he would know because of his knowledge and pride in his country, always showing the best of Ireland. Tom’s voice and communication skills are the definition of a professional and we are so grateful for having Tom as our guide. Ireland is a beautiful country, rich in history, ancient architecture, and natural wonders. The accommodations were excellent. The sites chosen to visit were excellent. The Irish people we met and talked with were very kind and friendly. This was a fantastic tour. I would highly recommend this tour!

April 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We just returned from the 10 Day Iconic tour with Tom Lavin as our guide. This was the best trip we have taken. We were lucky to have good weather almost every day and the 2 days we had some rain, Tom made sure we still had places to go and visit. The hotels and meals were great, and the history and information that Tom talked about made the trip and the places we visited more meaningful. The lunch on a real Irish farm was such a good part of the trip and the Farewell Dinner at The Merry Ploughboy pub with Irish music and dancing was a great way to end the tour.

April 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We have just returned from the 10-day Iconic Scenes of Ireland. We could not be more pleased with this company. Everything was handled in efficient fashion, yet flexible enough to accommodate everyone's needs and likes. Our driver/guide, Tom Lavin, was excellent in every respect. His driving skills are phenomenal, and he delivered a prefect mix of historical knowledge and insights on current events. He was always professional while still being friendly and easy-going. The hotels were great, and the included meals provided more food than we could eat, always with several choices at dinner, and plentiful buffets at breakfast. This was out first trip to Ireland, and this tour delivered a mix of locations and sights that will not soon be forgotten. We would love to visit Ireland again, and will stay with MIT when we do. Thank you.

April 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We took the 10 Day Iconic Scenes of Ireland Tour and had a wonderful time. The tour shows a good cross section of the country. We appreciated the smaller group, 26 on the bus. We were lucky and had fantastic weather. Our driver was Tom Lavin, and he was top notch. I'd give him ten stars if that was an option. He's very knowledgeable, always helpful and courteous, and funny, too! We rented a car for a few days after the tour ended, and Tom gave us helpful information about driving in Ireland. The tour is very well organized from start to finish. We highly recommend this company.

April 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

I normally don't write reviews, so I will try to make this as brief and informative as possible. We recently came back from the 10-day Iconic tour to Ireland and were very pleased. Our driver/guide, Tom Lavin, was wonderfully informative with a mixture of historical facts and info re Ireland today; he mentioned Brexit, the EU, road art, driver's licenses for teens, prices of homes in rural areas vs cities, etc., etc., etc., etc. The logistics of the tour were were well thought out, organized and executed.

April 2019  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We were on the 10-day Iconic Scenes tour and were very very pleased with the experience. Our driver, Tom Lavin, was fabulous! He was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, professional in every way......AND a great driver. He gave great narrations of various sites and current events in Ireland, giving us insight into some inner workings & culture of the country...something we could not have gotten had we been on our own. Tom gets 10 stars from us! Martina, trip coordinator, was also fabulous. She answered e-mails promptly and made for a smooth trip. Kudos to her! Overall, we would certainly book with My Ireland Tour again.

November 2018  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

Our 10 day trip to Ireland was a special memory for our group of seven. We were able to experience the beauty of Ireland, its historic sites and peaceful green-quilted country-sides far better than if we were on our own. George, our driver, was fantastic! Each day he shared with us his extensive knowledge of Irish history. With his great sense of humour and superb driving skills, we were unquestionably in good hands! We would very highly recommend My Ireland Tour! Thank you for a truly memorable experience!

October 2018  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We went on the 10 day iconic tour ofIreland, ,it was my second time with My Ireland., It is is every way a vividly interesting journey through Ireland's landscape and history. Our tour-guide Tom really should be a teacher. His amazing knowledge of Ireland, its people and personality, its history challenges today, gave me a grounding in this place that I would expect to get only from a minimum of a year of living there. Our creature comforts were met at every turn from a variety of interesting and comfortable hotels, to great food from well prepared hotel fare to pub fare to home-made farm fare. with always a choice of great wine, beer or finest Irish whisky! We were relieved of any worry over our bags as we journeyed, every nuance of responsibility taken care of. It would be true to say it was a wonderful group of fellow travelers, but I cant help thinking that if we hadn't been made as a comfortable and organized as we were, I am sure none of us would have been as pleasant or fun, as willing to be curious and friendly. It was all made so easy.

October 2018  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We chose the 10 day Iconic Scenes of Ireland tour for our first travel experience to Ireland. I'm so glad I found this great tour company on Google. We had a fabulous time meeting people and enjoying the sights of Ireland. Our guide, Tom Lavin, was the perfect mix of organization and information. It was a great relief to not only having someone doing the driving but also tending to those pesky details like luggage! Thank you Tom! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Ireland with a good mix of guided tours and free time. Sincerely, Gail and Tony Cross, Junction City, Oregon.

October 2018  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

My husband and I did the 10 Day Iconic Scenes and 5 Day Northern Ireland tours. We had never done a 'group' tour before and wasn't sure what to expect. Fortunately our experience was wonderful. Our driver guide Harry for the 10 day trip was quintessential Irish and really educated us on each and every area. I felt like I really got to know the history of Ireland and the Irish people. The trip to Northern Ireland with Nigel as our guide was equally educational and enjoyable. I LOVED that the guides stuck to our schedule but also listened to the desires of the group for extra time at certain stops and made it all work. Leaving all of the logistics to Harry and Nigel meant we could just enjoy each and every location. LOVED this trip and would go back to Ireland with this company again.

October 2018  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We chose the 10 day Iconic Scenes of Ireland tour to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Tom Lavin was our driver-guide and was outstanding! He was so knowledgable about the history and current events/life in Ireland. He entertained us with his humor and stories. We saw such a variety of historical sites, breathtaking scenic views and local daily life. We loved the small group and made many new friends. Most meals and all admission costs were included in the tour. Our hotels were in great locations so that we could venture into town when we had free time. We returned home truly relaxed and felt like we had a true vacation. So glad we decided to go with myirelandtours!

I traveled Ireland with tour/bus guide Tom Levin on the 10 day iconic Ireland Tour! It was magical from beginning to end! Tom made sure we were comfortable both on the coach bus as well as in our four star accommodations! This tour company made traveling so easy! We had no worries but to sit back and relax and see the beautiful country.

July 2018  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

What an amazing experience! We did the 10-Day Iconic Scenes of Ireland tour and had a wonderful time. Our driver-guide Tony was superb. He took care of us, told great stories, made us laugh, and provided just an all-around good time. The itinerary was well paced and Tony even provided some bonus stops along the way, especially to help break up some of the longer travel days. This tour was the perfect way to see a lot of the Irish countryside as well as visit the sites in the main cities. We greatly appreciated the smaller bus, which allowed us to get to know everyone who traveled with us. We can't wait to visit the Island again!

June 2018  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

June 2018  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We recently took a transatlantic cruise from Miami to Ireland and it worked out perfect that the My Ireland Tour 10 day Iconic Tour started the day we docked in Dublin. MIT agreed to pick us up from the cruise port and at the end of the tour dropped us off at the train station so that we could continue on our journey through Ireland. The hotels and food were great ,love that Irish soda bread and scones). The scenery was spectacular and we enjoyed the company and conversation of those who toured with us.

April 2018  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We can't say enough great things about our Iconic Scenes of Ireland 10 day tour. Our guide/driver, Nigel O'Connor, was just outstanding. We had a great, small group on our March journey, and Nigel was the perfect host. He has a vast knowledge of the history of this beautiful island and was eager to share it with us. We left Ireland knowing so much about these wonderful Irish people and the beautiful place they live. We urge anyone looking for a truly great experience in Ireland to book the journey with My Ireland Tour. You won't be sad!

October 2017  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

I've been back a week from the 10 day Iconic tour... aaannnddddd I want to be back in Ireland. This was my first solo travel adventure as well as my first overseas trip. From the meet and greet on the first night til the very end... I felt very welcome and not at all isolated. It was a great group of people. The Bus was very comfortable with ample space and well equipped with WiFi and the world's best tour guide/chauffeur, George Graham. I wouldn't change a thing about the tour... the hotels were all amazing too!! Slainte.

September 2017  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

My daughter age 29 called me one day and said lets do a tour of Ireland. We had never done a bus tour and started researching our options. We came across My Ireland Tours and after much research we decided this tour was the one. Our 10 day trip toured southern Ireland and loved I loved the fact that we had several cities that we spent 2 nights in. Our tour guide Tom Lavin was absolutely the PERFECT tour guide. We could not have asked for anything more! He is kind, compassionate, funny and wanted the 26 passengers on this tour to have an enjoyable experience! And we did!!! We never touched our bags. Everything was done for us. Tom is a true gentleman! Our accommodations were exceptional, the tours were what we expected and the whole experience was better than we anticipated. We met wonderful people from all over the world. My concern was that there would be passengers who were constantly late, but this was not the case. Tom had every minute orchestrated and there was not 1 hitch on our entire trip! If you are planning a trip to Ireland I highly recommend using My Ireland Tours! They are a class act. My daughter and I have memories that will last a lifetime! Thank you Tom, Crystal and all those who helped to organize this wonderful trip!

August 2017  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We just returned from our 10 day tour of Iconic Ireland and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the time we were picked up at the airport, we did not have to worry about anything but making the most of our time in Ireland and having fun doing it! Tom Lavin was the very best driver/guide that we could have hoped for. He was professional in addition to be incredibly knowledgeable about his beloved Ireland and we totally enjoyed his stories as well as the history he provided, Thank you so much Tom, well done!!! The hotels were beautiful and the food was incredible. I have traveled to the UK with a larger tour company and I will attest that My Ireland Tours was hands down the best tour ever. Again, thank you for great service and a most memorable experience! Julia and John Orshal

August 2017  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

This is a review for the Iconic Scenes of Ireland 10-day Tour in May 2017. At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to do a tour or go solo, but as I was traveling alone in a country I wasn't familiar with ,and I wasn't ready to try driving on the other side of the road just yet), I opted for a tour. I am so glad I decided to go with My Ireland Tours. The whole process was smooth as can be. Kristel was great at answering all of my questions ,including what would be best to pack as I was journeying from the Sunshine State!). Our driver, Brian O'Rourke, was amazing. He was friendly and tried to accommodate what we wanted to see and how long we wanted to spend in certain areas. He gave us some backstory on places we passed, and he took us to a few that weren't on the itinerary! I was so pleased to have taken this trip. The people I met were great, the country was gorgeous, the accommodations were wonderful, and the whole experience was one I won't forget anytime soon. In fact, before we left, several of us were already talking about a RETURN trip. I have recommended My Ireland Tours to everyone - friends, colleagues, even the nurse when I went for my physical! Thank you so much to Kristel, Brian, and everyone who was involved in making such an unforgettable trip wonderful.

July 2017  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

Tony and I had the 'best time' on our 10 day, My Ireland tour of the south. We had a comfortable roomy coach with only 22 passengers which was wonderful, always able to have a good space for viewing the beautiful green countryside. On arrival in Dublin we were met at the airport by Tom Levin our driver/guide who was a professional, knowledgeable, very likeable man who went beyond expectations to ensure all his group were well taken care of. He was also an excellent driver and we were in very safe hands. Accommodation and meals were of a high standard and the two night stays were appreciated. We visited many iconic sites and the constant beauty of Ireland was like a story book. The itinerary put together by My Ireland was A1. Thank you to Kristel and all concerned.

July 2017  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

My mother and I did the Iconic Scenes of Ireland 10 day tour, starting in Dublin and stopping in Galway, Killarney, Cork and a number of other places. Our driver/guide Brian was fantastic. He was incredibly informative and knowledgeable, and happy to socialise with the tour group at meals. This created a wonderful atmosphere and all 26 in the group got on very well. It was a pleasure to travel with them. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone as a great introduction to Ireland!

July 2017  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We had an amazing tour of Ireland on the 10-Day Iconic Scenes itinerary. Kristel, in the office, was so helpful with questions and guidance. With a smaller bus holding only 40 people and only 26 people on the tour, this allowed the group to spread out get to know each other. From the time he picked us up at the Dublin airport to the time he dropped us off to go home, our driver/guide, Tom Lavin, handled every detail with ease and professionalism.

June 2017  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We had an absolutely fabulous trip on the 10 Day Iconic Tour. We were a little nervous due to an age gap within our group ,us being the youngest at 32 years old!, but that quickly went away once we met everyone. The entire group had such a zest for life and infinite curiosity for the country, and by the end of it we all felt like family. Our driver, Brian, truly made our trip special. He was SO knowledgeable and made all of our trips go by quickly with the amount of information he knew about the country and also his humor and kindness went above and beyond. We were grateful that each hotel stay was 2 days so we didn't feel overwhelmed and everything was completely seamless. It was SO nice to have everything planned except for some free time in the afternoon and our hotels were within walking distance of all the town centers so we felt completely safe enjoying the nights out after dinner. We left feeling like we have seen a lot, but knowing there is so much more to see. We would definitely like to return and when we do, we'll be booking a tour through this company ,and requesting Brian if possible)!!

November 2016  •  10 Day Iconic Scenes

We just returned from 10 wonderful days in southern Ireland. Our driver Brian was a gem. The planned sites as well as a few unplanned side trips were great. Even the weather cooperated with 10 days of dry warmth. We started in Dublin, went to the far west, south to Killarney, thru Cork and back for a few days in Dublin. Could have had a little more free time to visit some more pubs but overall I think everyone on our small, modern bus ,only 22 people, enjoyed themselves.

We were a very diverse group of people who came together for 10 days and had a fabulous time together. I did a lot of research on the net looking for the 'perfect' tour and although there is no such thing-this one was great. The small number of people, the places we saw, the meals and sites that were included in the overall price, our incredibly patient, knowledgeable guide/bus driver-it was all I'd hoped it would be. And Tony, you were the best, JUST SAYING! Thanks for the memories to all of you.

This was a dream vacation. It's hard to feel the excitement in a written review, but believe me, this review is written with passion. From the beginning, we felt like we found a good tour company. We didn't know anyone who had used My Ireland Tour but we took a gamble and we are so glad we got what we had hoped for. Kristel and Eric were so kind and reachable which was something we had issues with OTHER tour groups. We especially enjoyed the smaller group/bus and we became 'family' over the 10 days... Our tour guide/bus driver, Brian O'Rouke, brought such life and fun to our trip...

My family of five had a fantastic vacation in Ireland these past 10 days, and we completely hit it off with our driver guide, Pat Breen. The accommodations were top-notch, and the itinerary well-suited to our needs, ,celebrating my parents' 60th Wedding Anniversary). I’d recommend your company to anyone wanting to visit Ireland. Thank you!

Tour Accommodation and Vehicles

Tour Accommodation

You will be staying exclusively in four-star hotels. But not all four-star hotels are the same. We know and trust the hotels we use for our tours, and we choose them carefully based not only on their star rating, but also on their location, service, value and character. With years of experience offering tours of Ireland, we have the knowledge, the experience and the local contacts to design the perfect accommodation package for your vacation.

We are very selective in getting just the right accommodation for each specific tour and we are very proud of the selection of hotels we have put together. Some of these hotels are family-owned, just like ourselves, and we have a long standing relationship with them all.

About your Tour Bus

On a tour vacation, the journey can be just as important as the destination. That's why our tour buses are all of the highest standards both in terms of luxury and reliability.

We deliberately leave some seats empty. In fact, we use 34-seater coaches, but limit the number of participants to 26. That's because we want all of our guests to be able to spread out, relax and enjoy the journey. This smaller group size is a core principle in our tours.

Please note: the bus shown in the gallery below is one of the 34-seater coaches used on our tours for max. 26 guests. For any reason, should one of these become unavailable for your tour we will endeavour to provide an equally luxurious and comfortable touring bus.
