Phil’s background
Despite his background in science and engineering, it was as an entrepreneur and angel investor that Phil found his passion. Straight out of university, Phil started his own travel business and built it to a successful empire within a few short years.
So it was an obvious fit when his in-laws, the O'Gorman family, asked him to get involved in the family business in 2014. Within a few months, My Ireland Tour was born And Phil continues to work on diverse aspects of the business from marketing and product design to coding up our customer support systems.

"My Ireland Tour was not my first company, and even today I continue to work on other ventures alongside this, our family business. Whatever I'm working on, my passion is in creating opportunities for long-term, sustainable growth. Especially here in Ireland, the place that I have come to call home. That means providing the kind of customer experience that keeps My Ireland Tour's guests coming back. Outside of work, I am passionate about the environment and I love to spend weekends exploring Ireland's less well-known attractions with my kids."
