Here we have listed the answers to some of the questions we're asked most often about choosing, reserving and booking a tour of Ireland. We also have a more extensive FAQs section with information about visiting Ireland for the first time.
Do I have to book straight away, or can I reserve my seats?
You can reserve your seats for free for up to 7 days. This gives you time to check your dates and make sure everything is in order before you commit. To reserve your seats, just find your dates and choose the option to reserve seats.
When do I need to pay a deposit?
Initially, we're happy to reserve your seats for free for up to 7 days. After that, a depsosit is required to secure your booking. You can calculate your deposit amount when you book or reserve your seats. Alternatively, all deposit amounts are outlined in our terms and conditions.
Can I book over the phone?
Yes, we can take your payment over the phone. Our office hours are 0900 to 1700 Monday to Friday and we are on GMT time. To secure your booking over the phone or send us your questions by email, please just contact us
What credit and debit cards can I use to pay for my tour?
We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express. Credit Card Booking Fees are included in the tour price. All credit card transactions are handled securely via Stripe and Revolut.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, My Ireland Tour requires that all passengers have travel insurance. We do not sell Travel Insurance but we would recommend Travel Guard. Your insurance should cover the total tour cost including flight disruption/cancellation, personal injury and medical expenses.
Are children allowed on the tour?
Some of our tours are adults-only, while others welcome children aged 8-17 years. For details, see your specific tour page or get in touch.
What if I want a single-occupancy bedroom?
Our tours are suitable for solos and singles as well as couples and small groups travelling together. Please note that a single-occupancy room supplement applies. More information is available when you make your reservation. Alternatively, you can view our terms and conditions or contact us.
