As Content & Digital Marketing Executive, Ben brings a lifelong passion for Gaelic culture, languages and travel to everything he does at My Ireland Tour. After a 15-year career in the hospitality and catering sector - including iconic hotels, restaurants and pubs in the Cork area - he joined the team in 2018 and now helps visitors discover the very best of Ireland.

Originally from Brittany in north-west France, Ben moved to Ireland at the age of 23 and never looked back. From the Atlantic coastline of the west to the quieter corners of the east, he has spent years exploring every part of the island he now calls home, and loves sharing those discoveries.

Ben's background

"I grew up in Brittany, another Celtic part of the world, spending most of my time there between the capital city of Rennes and the north coast. I moved to Ireland at the age of 23 and never looked back. I quickly fell in love with Irish culture and the way of life here, and have enjoyed exploring the island ever since."

"Despite studying General Private Law and Criminal Sciences, I found myself drawn to the hospitality industry, where I spent 15 years working in hotels, restaurants and pubs, including seven years here in Ireland. It was during this time that I got to know the country from a different perspective, working alongside local communities and meeting people from all walks of life."

Key focus

"My focus at My Ireland Tour is to share the Ireland I love with our visitors. Coming from a Celtic background myself, I combine my passion for languages, people and travel to help travellers discover everything this beautiful country has to offer."
