I admit, I was a bit anxious about a group guided tour because I tend toward social anxiety. This tour was relaxed enough and gave everyone enough freedom that I found it delightful and most memorable. Our guide, Niall, was a big part of that. He was looking out for us all the time and constantly finding ways to enhance our experience. He has a passionate devotion to his country but uses his sense of humor to keep and communicate an intriguing perspective. Ireland is not a hard sell, with its complex, fascinating history, congenial people and natural beauty, but Niall’s narrative truly drew me in and made me feel a part of it.“ Happy enough”, indeed.

Took mini-group tour of southern part of Ireland. 8 of us in a nicely-kitted-out Mercedes Sprinter. Our driver/guide, Barry, was great and all 8 of us got along very well. Not a rushed tour; had free time. All hotels great, esp. Ballynahinch castle. Some very nice dinners included -- at the castles. Scenery and stops all very nice. Highly recommend this tour, esp. if you don't like 40 on a bus!

I already miss our time in Ireland with this group of wonderful people! My husband and I, along with our great friends, were here to celebrate both of our 30th anniversaries. Ireland was a bucket list item for all of us! Our tour guide, Tony, was truly amazing! He was knowledgeable about Irish history and culture. He was also naturally witty. Tony was attentive to every detail of the trip, making sure everyone was taken care of at all times. I also loved all the people we met on the trip, from all over the place! We all got along very well and I enjoyed making new friends! The hotels were beautiful and a breeze to check in to. The tour was a perfect balance of culture, fun, and time to explore! Thank you for taking my mind off of work, etc. and giving me a one-of-a-kind experience!

16 women. 1 half marathon. 10 days. I can't say enough about how wonderful our "Patterson Party" tour in June, 2019 was. Peter Mullen was the driver extroidinaire! He was so knowledgable about the sights we needed to see, answered our questions and participated when we wanted some fun! Peter made sure we had plenty of time and met all our deadlines when we had some. We felt like family!

We take a family trip once or twice a year – 28 of us that includes 14 kids under 16. Bus driver/tour guide – best ever! Mark was funny, kind, and very informed! Also, no accidents. He made the trip special and flexible allowing us to make additional stops never planned. Ask for Mark. The home office also went over and above to handle all the planning – and gave us the best value (I selected My Ireland Tour) after bids and comparing three others. If the company and Mark are in the next country our family visits – no question – we would book with them.

We planned a family trip for 10 of us consisting of my family and my brother's family. We had a private bus that was fantastic with a bathroom in the back. The bus held 20 people, so we had plenty of room to spread out. Our contact at My Ireland Tour worked with us to plan the trip so that we could customize it for our family. Our tour guide, David O'Neill was great, very knowledgeable on Irish history and current events. He was also a very interesting guy with a wide range of interests and hobbies. We visited the towns our paternal grandfather and grandmother came from, so it was very personal for us. My daughter found this agency as it is rated the best in personal tours and our trip confirmed this rating.

Our trip to Ireland was nothing short of magnificent! Deciding to get a driver for our family of six versus driving ourselves was the best decision we made! Our driver, Colm, went above and beyond to enhance our trip every day! He has a delightful personality, extensive knowledge of Ireland sites and history, and tends to every detail. We would not have been able to see half the sites had it not been for Colm. He quickly got to know every person in our family and tailored recommendations to each of us. And, he took us to less traveled sites that were amazing, had great recommendations (sites, restaurants, pubs, shopping, etc.), and shared shortcuts and money saving tips. All in all, our trip was amazing because of Colm! We felt like we were leaving a dear friend behind when having to say goodbye. Much appreciation to Colm and My Ireland Tour for a great coach bus and excellent service!!

Choosing his tour was the best thing I did for my trip. The only thing I could possibly complain about were a couple of other tour participants, but even they couldn’t take away from how amazing this trip was. The tour included the top places I wanted to visit and a few I never would’ve known about (but I’m happy I do now.) The hotels were all incredible (Lough Eske Castle Hotel was the highlight for me, followed by Ballynahinch!) And the meals were great too! The best part, by far, was the tour guide, Joe. His knowledge (and the personal touch he added to every story/location) went beyond expectation. He made me smile and laugh every day. And he made me care about Ireland and it’s history, which I think is the thing that impacted me the most. When I come back, I’d only do a tour with this company and with Joe!!

We loved everything about this tour! Dublin was great, people so friendly, so much to do. The tour covered all we wanted to see on our first visit. Beautiful country. We were lucky to have mild weather. Pleased with accommodations, especially in Dublin. The Limerick hotel was ok, not as accessible to see much of Limerick. Tony our tour guide is the best guide, must request Tony on any visit!!! My Ireland Tour was great to work with and has been recommended to many friends since our vacation. This tour met and exceeded our expectations. The heart of the tour was our driver-guide Tony. Our group consisted of 25 travelers from age 13 to over 80. We came from 5 different countries and many different states within the U.S. I highly recommend this tour, especially if this is your first trip to Ireland. Tony made sure we got to see all the memorable, historic and spiritual sites in a timely manner. He watched over all of us and he shared a lot of stories. We were free to mingle with our tour mates at all times. On returning to NY, my husband and I (who celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with this tour) concluded that it would be hard to top this experience - arranged with My Ireland Tours.

My wife and I have just returned from our Iconic Tour of Ireland and we could not have had a more enjoyable and pleasurable travel experience. The concept of this tour with a small group size and just two hotels with 'spokes' each day is absolutely brilliant! Every aspect of this trip was simply magnificent! Arranging the tour was simple and straightforward and the My Ireland Tour staff communicated all of our arrangements through the whole process.

We chose My Ireland Tours to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in Ireland and couldn't be happier with our choice. We enjoyed the small groups and comfortable coach. Our driver/guide, Mark, was attentive and extremely knowledgable about Irish history and events. Our tour went from listening to history, visiting sites, laughing at humorous stories to the singing of Irish songs. We also appreciated that all of our accommodations, tours and meals were included but we did get a little tired of the 'typical Irish breakfast'. We would highly recommend My Ireland Tours for anyone wanting to tour Ireland.

Our family excursion to Ireland was an extremely enjoyable experience. Our mini-bus was luxurious and highly comfortable. The bus was cleaned and the windows washed daily to optimize our sightseeing. Arrangements had been made for child car seats to accommodate our two 3-year old twin grandsons. The car seats worked really well. Positioned in the rear of the bus and perched on raised seats the boys had grand views of the countryside enabling them to provide ongoing commentary about cows, sheep and “lots of green squares” in the landscape.

Just returned to the states after our 4 person tour of Ireland. I asked Mr O'Gorman to set up my 8 day tour and treat me like his son in law who had never visited the nation. He set up a tour for my wife and another couple that would befit his son. It was spectacular... wonderful unforgettable I recommend his company, Mr O'Gorman, the guide Pat Breen or anything or anyone Mr O'Gorman uses. Put yourself in his hands. The small group also made the tour a much more pleasurable experience as you got to spread out on the coach and get to know your fellow travellers in a more relaxed environment. The tour visits and inclusions were awesome and in my opinion the tour as a whole represented fantastic value for money.

We just returned from our castle tour, and it was far beyond our expectations. Our guide, George Connelly, was so knowledgeable and professional. Our guide/driver, Tom, was very friendly, informative and clearly loved his country. The hotels and food were excellent. We were very lucky in that we were a very small group (11 of us) and everyone got on very well together. Kristel helped us plan a tour of Ireland for four women. She was so helpful and worked with us through several changes. Our driver Patrick was informative, helpful and flexible. Great way to see the country. While this is certainly a more costly way to travel, we all felt it was well worth it.

Best vacation ever. Maurice who took us all over Ireland was the kindest, most well informed and attentive person. We had my 85 year old mother with us and he could not have been kinder to her. He would bring us as close as possible to every venue to make it easy for her. He also kept our 10 year old super engaged. He was like family by the time our 2 weeks were done. Cannot say enough about the experience and family adventure. We just loved it. The diversity of the places we stayed, the history, the food and the comfort. Thank you so much!

My family and I were on the Essential Ireland Tour at the end of August. This trip was incredible! I have already recommended My Ireland Tours to several friends. We found My Ireland Tours via a Google search. I reached out with some questions and knew we were in good hands when Kristel quickly addressed my concerns. Once in Ireland, our tour guide/driver, Brian, went above and beyond. His knowledge and enthusiasm cannot be beat! Our small group of 12 gave us incredible opportunities that we never would have enjoyed with one of the larger tour organizations. So much was packed into this great little tour, but my family and I never felt rushed or herded. My only complaint is that your company doesnt offer tours throughout Europe. After this wonderful experience, I cant imagine touring with anyone else!

My sister and I have talked about going to Ireland for several years and finally decided in 2017 to just do it. We looked into several tour companies and I have to say, choosing My Ireland Tour was one of our best decisions. We had an amazing time and loved everything about the trip, from seeing the best that Ireland had to offer to enjoying the time on the bus with our tour guide, George Graham. He was the best and made our time so enjoyable and educational. We did the 10 day Iconic Tours of Ireland tour and I already can't wait to go back. I would recommend this tour group without any hesitation. Kristel was so helpful, it was effortless to get there and find our guide, and we made a lot of new friends along the way. Slainte!

Karen and I had a wonderful trip with My Ireland Tours. We made new acquaintances, gained respect for Ireland's history, enjoyed the magnificent views and in general just had a wonderful time. We must admit that George Graham, our tour guide, was the highlite of the tour. His sense of timing and humor, his knowledge of the land and its history made the tour. We are confident that all the tour guides are high quality, but if you're lucky enough to get George, you're in for a treat and an exhilarating tour!

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Ireland. Brian, our drive, was right there waiting for us at the airport and off we all went to our first hotel in Malahide. All hotels were lovely. This being Europe, remember to bring a wash cloth! The tour covered all the highlights and we were lucky enough to have wonderful weather. The only drawback was that poor Brian had to do double duty as the tour guide. I expected a tour guide to be on the bus and narrate our adventure.

My daughter and I chose the Essential Tour of Ireland (Aug. 2017). This was by far the best decision we could have made. The trip/tour was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide Enda was phenomenal and made this tour a great experience!!!!!. The days are packed but you do get time at night (early evening) to explore on your own. Strongly suggest the Arlington hotel Celtic dinner show, IrelandEpic Emmigration Museum, Bleecker St. Cafe, The Celt Lounge, the Church....... just walking around was a great way to take in this great city. I was worried about the make up of people that could be on the tour but turns out we met some pretty AMAZING people. Although the tour holds 35 people, we ended up with 20 which was perfect. I have and will continue to recommend this tour and company to others. You will not be disappointed in any way!!! Already looking to book a return trip.......

I have worked with Eric several times over the years and each time has been an exciting and unique experience. I have run both coach trips and smaller group trips via luxury van. One of the major things MyIreland does best is the value of the accommodations. All of the places included in the tours are centrally located. Watch the cookie cutter tours that appear to be less expensive. That's usually because they put people in hotels that are far from the city centers or walking distance to anything. The drivers have always been outstanding and willing to go off course and make suggestions. Communication with the office is outstanding from the moment you ask for information to completion of the tour and afterwards. I am always looking forward to my next trip with this company. There will be many many more! Brian O'C Boston, MA

Our tour of Ireland from Dublin down to the southwest coast, up to Galway and back to Dublin from June 20-29, 2017, was a pure delight. From the time Ted, our driver/guide picked us up at Dublin Airport to the time we ended in Dublin, we saw a beautiful country which surprised us with its diverse terrain. We were pleased to extremely pleased with our guest houses and hotels, enjoyed a variety of sites to visit and had some special experiences, like a night in a pub listening to music performed by old friends of our driver that he'd just met on the street by chance. If you are going to Ireland, don't bother to look at other tours. Book this one! We booked this tour to celebrate our 50th anniversary on April 28 and we can't say enough about it. The hotels are first class, the meal are excellent, and the itinerary is very comprehensive. We had plenty of time to see all the locations we visited, never feeling rushed from place to place. Since they limited the number of people on each tour, the bus was comfortable for everyone, with plenty of room to relax in-between stops. If you are lucky enough to have Tony as your guide/driver, than you surely have the luck of the Irish. Thank you making our anniversary extra special. Can't wait to return.

Sit Back, Relax and Enjoy the Ride! Our 'MIT' started in Dublin (9/20-29) and ended in Belfast and what an adventure we had. The pace was extremely adequate for our age (50+) group. Do the Irish loop when you are able as some of the touristy attractions require moderate walking/climbing at times. There were no headaches on deciding where we were going, parking hassles or problems to be had. Our timeframe was well planned by MIT and accommodated our schedules... GLASHA House is an inn not to be missed. Of course the highlight of our trip was our phenomenal driver Enda who MADE this trip. He was very professional, efficient and so easy to get along with. He is terribly funny and enjoys his job tremendously. He squeezed in extras that we hadn't allotted time for and put smiles on our faces. KUDOS Enda-we miss you (your MF Canadian friends)This stress free way to enjoy unfamiliar territory is a must. It allowed for the real 'taste' of Ireland to be had. Pay the few extra Euros and enjoy the Ride. It is well worth it and you'll be happy you did!

Tour Accommodation

You will be staying exclusively in four-star hotels. But not all four-star hotels are the same. We know and trust the hotels we use for our tours, and we choose them carefully based not only on their star rating, but also on their location, service, value and character. With 30 years of experience offering tours of Ireland, we have the knowledge, the experience and the local contacts to design the perfect accommodation package for your vacation.

We are very selective in getting just the right accommodation for each specific tour and we are very proud of the selection of hotels we have put together. Some of these hotels are family-owned, just like ourselves, and we have a long standing relationship with them all.

On a tour vacation, the journey can be just as important as the destination. That's why our vehicles are all of the highest standards both in terms of luxury and reliability. The General Post Office of Ireland The General Post Office of Ireland

The General Post Office of Ireland had many homes before finally settling on its current location of O'Connell Street, on January 6th 1818. It is most famous for housing the Irish Rebels during the Easter Rising of 1916.

The building was destroyed by fire during the uprising and was left unattended until the Irish Free State government set about restoring it. The General Post Office now acts as a visitor centre and sheds an amazing light on some of Ireland's darkest days and the country it was to become.
